This is a wonderful pair of French Art Deco sconces from the 1920s. The glass is signed "Gean Noverdy France". The glass slip shades are a deep peach/pink. The deep relief in the glass appears to depict stylized floral clusters and foliage of the date palm. The elegant back plates have a sculpted metal tassel at the bottom. This is a very special pair of sconces.
